What you’ll need
Frozen Mixed Berries
Crème de Cassis
Glass Jam Jars
Grab those berries! You can use fresh or frozen, but have a variety on hand.
Add your fruit to a large pot with the sugar & Crème de Cassis. Mix well.
Place over medium-high heat and stir occasionally until boiling.
Once at a full boil, let cook while stirring for 1 minute. Add the liquid pectin & mix.
Bring the jam back to a rolling boil & allow to cook for 1 full minute, stirring continuously!
Remove from the heat & skim off any foam. Next, portion the jam into your sterilized glass jars.
Take your melted paraffin wax & add a nice layer on top of each jar. Place the lids & close tightly.
Listen for those ‘POPS’, as the jam cools & creates a natural vacuum seal.
Once cooled, completely tighten the lids & label. The jam will keep for several years!
