Prima Transfer
Before - Vintage Dresser
1
Using Dixie Belle Mud full in missing veneer issues. Clamp and glue lifting veneer.
2
Remove hardware, sand down the applied mud when dry.
3
Set hardware aside to be cleaned and spray painted gold.
4
This piece had some damages. Make sure to assess and repair properly before paint.
5
Gather materials. Spanish Moss and Birchwood. Transfer is by Prima.
6
Clean with White Lightning.
7
Lay down base coats. I want a ombré effect. Dark to lighter middle.
8
Keep separate brushes for each color. Using a spray bottle with water to blend together.
9
Ombré blend.
10
Clean hardware and spray paint.
11
I will be using a part of this rub on transfer.
12
Added transfer detail to the front raised surface.
13
Dans La Vie by Prima. Not using the whole transfer. Just a partial design.
14
I’ve taped down the area beside the raised detail. This prevents the transfer from adhering over top
15
Once the transfer has been applied pull off the backing.
16
This is a great way to accent detail and dress up a piece!
17
Use clear wax on the entire piece.
18
I like to apply wax with a brush and buff back after it dries.
19
Apply Warm Gold gilding wax to highlight detail.
20
Install freshly painted original hardware.
21
Great detail and ombré blend.
22
Condition wood wheels with Big Mamas Butta.
23
Condition inside of drawers with Big Mamas Butta.
24
The transfer makes it so feminine.
25
