Sliced Onions
1/2 tea spoon
Black Mustard Seeds(Optional)
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds(optional). Let them splutter

Add curry leaves (optional)

Add onions and saute for 3-5 mins until they turn translucent

Add 2 teaspoons of your Vata Spice Mix and mix well. Cover and cook for 5 mins

The salt in the Saisha Ayurveda Vata spice mix will make the onion slices sweat.

Now add the lentils and some water mix well.

Add in your cooked vegetables. Simmer and cook for 5 mins

Add some chopped coriander and salt and you are done! If you are making soup, blend now
