Draw your design.
1
Tape your drawing on top of the foam sheet/plate. Using a pen or dull pencil, trace over the image.
2
Remove the paper. You should see a lightly traced image.
3
Retrace the image with pen or a dull pencil.
4
Tape down a sheet of magazine paper at the top and bottom. Make sure it is secured well.
5
Scoop out a small amount of ink.
6
Roll out the ink with your brayer - top to bottom, not back and forth. It should sound sticky!
7
Roll the brayer across the foam ensuring that you cover the entire plate.
8
Place the foam plate on the paper. Flip over the paper and rub gently on the back.
9
Carefully peel off the foam plate and reveal your print!
10
