What you’ll need
Brayer
Dull Pencil or Ball Point Pen
Magazine Page & Tape
Block Printing Ink
Paper (same size as foam)
Styrofoam
Plastic Knife or Popsicle Stick
Draw your design.

Tape your drawing on top of the foam sheet/plate. Using a pen or dull pencil, trace over the image.

Remove the paper. You should see a lightly traced image.

Retrace the image with pen or a dull pencil.

Tape down a sheet of magazine paper at the top and bottom. Make sure it is secured well.

Scoop out a small amount of ink.

Roll out the ink with your brayer - top to bottom, not back and forth. It should sound sticky!

Roll the brayer across the foam ensuring that you cover the entire plate.

Place the foam plate on the paper. Flip over the paper and rub gently on the back.

Carefully peel off the foam plate and reveal your print!
