What you’ll need
Separate a section of hair for the bangs
Separate a section of hair around the crown of the wig
Repeat around the whole wig (including the top behind the bangs)
Gather the hair that isn’t already separated, and pull it into a ponytail.
The hair doesn’t have to be perfectly smooth for this step
But do your best to smooth it out, and secure it with a zip tie
Brush it out CAREFULLY. Ponytail should be where you want the bun.
Now we’re gonna play with the separated pieces!
It should be separated into 4 sections: back, side pieces, and top.
And be sure to set aside some extra strands for her side curly strands.
Tease the underside of the side pieces (the side that will lay against the wig)
Make sure you smooth out the outside of the pieces, and secure it to the ponytail with a zip tie
Repeat with all sections of the hair.
And make sure everything lays smooth and flat.
Now for the bun. Start with the main center pin curl. Pin like crazy.
Work with the shape and natural curve of the hair.
Pin curl the rest of the bun. You can never use too many pins. Cover with invisible hair net.
Next cut the bangs! Cut them longer than you think they need to be (I usually do 7” to start)
Stick those bangs in some rollers. Roll the hair in the direction you want it to go.
Use the steamer to heat the bangs.
Wait for it to dry and cool before taking the rollers out.
Carefully take the rollers out.
Now mess the bangs up by teasing them to the heavens.
Brush and smooth them out. Shape them to your liking. Re-tease if you need to
Freeze those bangs with hair spray
And you have one completed Cinderella Wig!
