What you’ll need
Lean Ground Beef
Apple Cider Vinegar
Red Pepper Flakes, Optional
Medium Onion, Grated
Frank’s Red Hot, Original
Green Onion, Sliced
Garlic Cloves, Grated
Salt, For Meatballs
Light Brown Sugar
Salt, For Sauce
Grate onion and garlic cloves into a large mixing bowl.
Add breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, egg and ground beef. Combine ingredients with your hands.
Use a medium cookie scoop to portion the meat and roll into about 1.5” meatballs.
Use a nonstick or parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Simmer hot sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, salt and red pepper flakes for 10 minutes.
Turn off heat. Reserve 1/2 cup of the sauce. Toss meatballs in the sauce.
Garnish with green onions and serve with cocktail picks and extra sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
