Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Scones

Prepare your ingredients before you begin.

Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice & salt in a large bowl. Mix well.

Cut in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.

In a small bowl whisk together pumpkin purée, buttermilk, and egg.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until moist. Fold in chocolate chips.

Shape into two 1/2-inch high circles on a lightly floured surfaces.

Cut into 8 triangles and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet 2 inches apart.

Bake 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
