Fold material in half & measure the material for cutting. I used 12 x 18 inches.
Cut rectangles with pinking shears, if you have them, to prevent the fabric from fraying.
Place your fabric RIGHT sides together and pin around the perimeter.
Leave a space not sewn so you can turn your fabric right sides out. I marked with clips.
Turn machine on & sew around the perimeter of your fabric removing pins as you sew.
Don’t forget to back stitch when beginning and ending a stitch.
To turn a corner, first, lift your foot off of the pedal to stop sewing.
Lower the needle into the fabric manually and lift the presser foot.
Rotate the fabric and lower the presser foot. Continue sewing!
Once you’re finished sewing all 4 sides, remember to leave a space, don’t forget your back stitch!
Lift presser foot. Trim threads & corners. Be careful not to cut into stitching.
Turn the fabric right sides out and poke out the corners. Use a point turner if you have one.
Align the gap with the seams turned inward and pin.
Stitch as close to the edge as possible. Don’t forget to back stitch at the beginning and end.
At the end of a stitch pull project to the side & hold threads while you trim. Remember: Power off!
Trim your remaining threads.
Press with heat: Easy Press or iron.
Adding a personalization is optional and I do have a separate tutorial for this step coming soon!
