Elmer’s Glue All
Newspaper
Wood Glue
Masking Or Painters Tape
Acrylic Paint
Protect your work space- cover w newspaper or disposable tablecloth

Mix your liquid for paper mache: 1/2 c. Elmers, 2 tbsp wood glue for 1.5 c water.

Tear newspaper into strips

Dip newspaper in the papier-mâché solution and apply them to the structure until it’s covered.

Smooth out the edges where the pieces overlap to be sure it is smooth.

Apply multiple layers as needed to get surface smooth.

Paint sculpture white until you can no longer see the newspaper underneath- let dry between layers.

Finish your piece with a coat of gloss, a final color or a patterned top coat.
