Makes enough to generously cover a 9x13 pan or 8” double layer cake. Almost 4 cups.
Beat 16 oz cream cheese with 8 Tbs unsalted butter. Needs to be softened & at room temperature.
Add 1 tsp vanilla (I use vanilla paste). Add 2 C powdered sugar.
Continue mixing on high speed to incorporate air. About 3 min. Mixture will lighten & whip up.
You might like Zucchini Spice Cake, Carrot Cake, or delicious Banana Cake.
