What you’ll need
Garlic
Basil
Ground Cayenne
Strained tomatoes
Salt
Fresh Olive Oil
Whole Peeled Tomatoes
Ground Turmeric

Buy
Get a small saucepan ready. Add a little water to cover the bottom.

Pour a little oil into the water. I like to use an 80/20 mix of olive and coconut oils.

Add garlic, basil, turmeric and cayenne. Add it to the oil, not the water. The oils hold the flavor

Sauté the flavors. The water keeps the oils from overheating.

Add the whole peeled tomatoes once the air is filled with beautiful aromas.

Crush your tomatoes with a whisk.

Add the strained tomatoes.

Add salt and then bring to a boil. Once the sauce is boiling, reduce it to a low simmer.

Once it’s boiling, reduce the heat to a low, and mix it slowly and often.

Mix mix mix.

Pull it off the heat and add more raw chopped basil and some high quality raw olive oil.
