Olive oil
Heat oil in a skillet. Thinly slice onion and add to the skillet.

Thinly slice the steak at an angle. Place in a bowl. Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

Add freshly minced garlic (no need to peel!) and cook for 1 more minute.

Add the steak. Cook for about 4 minutes or until just cooked through. Transfer to a bowl to rest.

Add beef broth and bring to a boil. Scrape up the brown bits and reduce to medium. Cook ~4 min.

Lightly toast buns under broiler or in toaster. Plate dips and reserve liquid for dipping!
