Pipe your macarons on the parchment paper with the template under it for guidance.
Use a toothpick to spread the batter to the edges of the template.
Using a smaller round tip, pipe the arms of the cactus.
Again, use a toothpick to smooth out the batter.
After baked, pipe the filling on the macarons.

Use royal icing to pipe some ruffles.
Make them festive!
Cut out fondant stars.
Place them on top of your macarons with a toothpick to secure them.
