What you’ll need
1 cup/226 grams
3/4 cup/150 grams
Chopped Chocolate (any chocolate will do!)Buy

All-Purpose Flour (Plain Flour)Buy

Light Brown SugarBuy
Large Egg + Egg Yolk
Brown the butter in a saucepan and pour it off into a measuring cup.
Add water to the measuring cup until it‘s at 1 cup (250 ml). Let it cool completely in the fridge.
In a medium bowl, sift both flours, the baking powder and baking soda. Add in the salt and whisk.
In another bowl, add in both sugars, the vanilla, and the cooled brown butter. Beat together.
Add in the egg and egg yolk and mix.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until ALMOST combined.
Fold in the chopped chocolate.
Scoop scoops of the dough onto a cookie sheet and chill for an hour, or overnight.
Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and place scoops of your dough onto another cookie sheet
Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes.
Let the cookies cool completely, or until they’re a little warm before enjoying them!
