What you’ll need
1🥕, 3🥔, 3🌱 celery
Chopped Veggies

Ground Turmeric
2 tbls
Fresh Olive Oil
2 cups
Basmati Rice

Cumin Seeds
To taste

Strained tomatoes
1 big pinch
Ground Cayenne

Red Lentils
Get your spices in some hot oil to release their flavors. Cumin Seeds, Turmeric, and Cayenne 🌶

Once the herbs and spices have released their essences, it’s time to add the veggies. 3🥔, 3 🌱, 1🥕

Heat on high, add a splash of water and MIX.

Sauté veggies on high, mix mix mix. Add water if the bottom gets dry.

Add 2 cups of basmati rice. California basmati is best 😊👍🏼

Add 2 cups of red lentils and 4 cups of water.

Mix often, once it’s boiling add 4 more cups of water.

Once it comes to a boil again... Add a jar of strained tomatoes.

Add salt to taste. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer, put a top on the pot, and set 15 min⏲

10 minutes in, add a big bowl of fresh spinach, mix it up and put the top back on.
