What you’ll need
2 medium sized
Chopped Persian Cucumbers
1 chili
Chopped Green And Red Chili
2 cups
Buttermilk
Basmati Rice
1/4 tsp
Sugar
1/4 cup chopped
Coriander (cilantro)
1/2 clove
Grated Garlic
1 cup
Greek Yogurt
1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds
1/2 inch grated ginger
Grated Ginger
2 tbsp (mix w/ 2 tbsp water)
Channa (chickpea) Flour
1/4 tsp
Mustard Seeds
1/4 tsp
Salt
Gather ingredients for vaggarane (seasoning)

Heat 2 tbsp oil. Add mustard and cumin seeds. Cover and heat until it splatters

Add cucumbers, chili, cilantro, garlic, and ginger and sauté for 2 mins

Combine the buttermilk and yogurt. Beat to mix

Add channa powder paste to buttermilk/yogurt mix. Add salt and sugar

Add the full yogurt mix to the vaggarane (seasoning)

Keep cooking and stirring for 8-10 mins, until it becomes a bit heavy

Serve alongside basmati rice and lemon pickle. Enjoy!
