Combine butter and sugar over medium heat in a saucepan.

Keep stirring as it begins to brown and caramelize.

After a few minutes of stirring the sugar will melt completely and become quite smooth.

Add the nuts and stir them in to coat.

Pour the nuts onto a silicone mat. Use a spatula to separate them. Work quickly!

When the sugar has cooled enough to touch, break the nuts apart. They’re ready to use!
