Wash and soak the lentils in a warm water for 15 minutes,then filter it and move them to a pot

While the lentils are cooking, soak the rice(warm water) and add turmeric to give it a golden color

Let the lentils boil for 10 minutes,clean the top, and check it if it's Soften

Filter it from the boiling water, and set it on a side

Filter the rice, in a pot add olive oil then put half of the rice,keep stirring until it's lighter

Now add the lentils and the rest of the rice,salt and 3 cups of water and cover it in a high heat

When it's start boiling low the heat and cover it, keep watching until the water completely dries

Serve with fried onions, salad ,and yogurt
