Lentil Chole Masala

Start by sautéing one large onion and can green chili’s in pan with ghee or oil.

Add your spices! 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp curry ,tamarind, 1 tbsp garam masala & 1 tsp turmeric.

Add diced tomatoes, red pepper, garlic & 1 tbsp ginger paste.

Add a splash or two of red wine to deglaze pan & tomato paste. Add lentils and chickpeas. Stir well

Transfer to slow cooker or instant pot. Add vegetable broth to cover. Cook on high 3-4 hours.

Add fresh lemon, cilantro & chives to finish! Fiber full!
