Water Soluble Pencil
Trace mask onto both front and back fabric with a water soluble pencil

On the front of your sleep mask, draw a design you would like to embroider (zzz’s, eyelashes, etc)

Thread the needle and place fabric in the embroidery hoop

Using the back stitch start to embroider the design

Finish up your design and secure it with a knot on the back of the hoop

Remove fabric from the hoop and cut out along the pencil line

Cut a 14” elastic strip and sandwich between the front and back, pin together

Using the blanket stitch, sew the front and back together

When you get to the elastic, secure it with a faux blanket stitch

Leave a 3” hole to fill sleep mask with 1/2 cup of lavender, continue blanket stitch to finish
