Stir water, salt and sugar together. Sprinkle in yeast and let foam.

Stir in flour and oil

Stir or use hands to mix into a dough

Add 1 T of oil to pot

Add dough into pot and then adjust the yogurt button to less. Let dough proof for 30 minutes

Move dough to counter. Add 8 cups water into IP and add in baking soda. Turn IP to sauté setting.

Divide dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll dough into skinny ropes and twist into pretzel shape.

Add a pretzel at a time into boiling water. Let pretzel boil for just 30 seconds. Remove and repeat

Place pretzels on baking sheet and brush with egg wash

Sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake in 450 oven for 10-15 minutes.
