The ratio I use is 1 tablespoon of corn syrup per every 180g of crystallized sugar!

Mix it up until all the sugar is coated with the corn syrup

Now squish it down! If you want to use a rolling pin, put a bit of shortening on it - no sticking!

Measure out the height and thickness desired!

Leave it out for at least 2hours until it no longer feels sticky!

Now flip it over and let the other side dry! Leave out for about 6hrs for optimal dry consistency

Now place it on your cake!

Mix a bit of vodka with edible gold powder & colour in the edges

Now add your decor! I used some flowers
