Fill your cake and begin by carving your cake

Smooth out the edges if need be to ensure it’s a round edge the fondant will go on

Now crumb coat it and place in the fridge for ten minutes

Leave the cake out for a couple of minutes to not be too cold. Roll out the fondant

Now measure, fit and place the fondant on your cake.

Do so again and add detail!

If you need to place another piece of fondant on top of another, use a bit of water as “glue”.

This cake was in an airtight container, in the fridge. Before serving let it come down to room temp
