Remove hardware, scuff and clean with White Lightning.
Using White Lightning removes any oils, dirt and prepares the base for painting.
Dusty Blue is the base for this project. Apply with a damp brush to the bottom and blend up.
I have a ombré color planned for the base. Multiple shades of blue blend to create this effect.
Do not paint the drawers. These will be another base color. Keep a damp brush and blend the blues.
Keep a misting bottle with water close by to help blend. Separate brushes for each color.
Once the base has been blended it’s time to work on the drawer fronts.

Transfers used for this project are partial pieces. Moment and Midnight Floral.
I used a touch of Burlap to accent the edges darker. Tape off the section for stripes.
Lay one coat of Holy Guacamole on the inset drawer over the tape. This will be the stripes.
Espresso gel stain wipes into the top to darken and refresh. Smooth strokes. Two coats.
Remove tape when the paint is dry. You are ready for transfers!
Place your transfers onto the surface and apply. Remember to check your hardware placement and plan

Distress edges with sand paper.
Best Dang Wax in Clear to seal the base. This goes right over the transfers.
Re install hardware.
Using Warm Gold Gilding wax to highlight your edges for some shine.
Seal the Espresso Gel stain with Clear Coat.
I felt it was still missing something. I added a stencil to the sides to shine!
Using a foam brush to apply. Moonshine Metallics in Gold Digger.
Now it’s ready to stage!
Use greenery to accent.
And natural light to photograph.
Transformation is complete!
