What you’ll need
1 or 2 medium cloves
Garlic
To taste
Salt
For sprinkling
Za’atar
2 15-ounce cans
Chickpeas
1/2 cup
Tahini
Pita For Serving
5 oz / 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons
Lemon Juice
For drizzling
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Mine the garlic in a food processor

Rinse and strain the chickpeas, then add them to the garlic, and grind them up for a few seconds.

Add the lemon juice (5 oz, or 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons)

Add the 1/2 cup tahini

Season to taste

Run the food processor for a minute or two, pausing to scrape down the sides halfway.

The hummus is done when it’s super smooth

Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Enjoy!
