but what is tuna newberg?
Sauté chopped onions in oil until soft and translucent.
Add drained tuna.
Stir to combine and break up any chunks.
Add paprika and oregano.
In large measuring cup whisk together milk, mayo, flour, with additional paprika and oregano.
Add liquid to onions and tuna. Stir. Once it bubbles gently, reduce to simmer and cover.
Let simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens, approx 15-20 mins.
When it’s thick and creamy it’s done! Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over rice with additional oregano as a garnish.
