What you’ll need
Sugar Cookie Dough
Royal Icing
Piping Bag
Rolling Pin
Shamrock Cookie Cutters

Powdered Sugar
Green Food Color

Sprinkle your surface with powdered sugar

With a powdered rolling pin, gently roll dough into a circle

For dense cookies, roll out to 1/4” to 3/8” thick

Starting from the outside, cut as many shapes from the dough as you can

Refrigerate dough for 1-2 hours

Bake at 350F for 8 minutes, let cool on a wire rack

Add food color to the royal icing until you find the right shade of green

With your #5 tip, outline the entire cookie in royal icing

Add one tablespoon of water to royal icing to make it a flooding consistency

Using the #12 tip, flood each pocket and center of the cookie, spread out and fill in with toothpick

Sprinkle your lucky gold in concentrated areas, careful not to spill elsewhere

Let dry before stacking or packaging (it’ll smudge the icing)
