What you’ll need

Fresh Coconut
Knife
Vitamix
Meat Cleaver
Tap Coconut using rhythmic motion

Continue to tap. It may take several minutes before the outer shell cracks.

Once it cracks, allow the water from the coconut to flow. Save it to use later.

There is an outer & inner shell. Use the dull side of knife to pry the meat from the outer shell.

It is okay that some of the inner shell remains attached.

Be careful with the blade. This can be a messy job but the results make it all worthwhile.

Rinse to remove debris. Drain the coconut water from the bowl. Save to use in Vitamix.

Pour your coconut meat and coconut water into the Vitamix and blend on high.

Mix for about 5 minutes

You're halfway there! The pulp and the shell must now be removed.

At this point, you can clean the shells and pulp out of your milk using a nut milk bag or a juicer.

Or both. I used my juicer to remove the pulp and a nut bag to remove the remaining shells.

And your Milk is ready😀 Milk is best stored in an air-tight jar and can last 3-4 days. Enjoy!
