How toMake Almond Butter Cups

What you’ll need
1/2 cup
Creamy Almond Butter
2 tbsp
Salted Butter
Handful
Roasted Almonds
1/3 cup
Confectioners Sugar
8 ozs
Semi-sweet Baking Chocolate
Baking Cups
Breakup semi-sweet baking chocolate bar, and place into a microwaveable safe dish

Microwave for 1.5 minutes, stirring every 20 secs, to prevent burning, until fully melted

When complete, the chocolate should have this consistency

Take a muffin pan, and line with baking cups, for nice form and easy clean-up

Once complete, take the melted chocolate, and pour a heaping teaspoon into each cup

Repeatedly tap down the muffin pan until the chocolate spreads to form an even base layer

Place in the freezer for 10 minutes

While waiting, start creating the almond butter filling by melting 2 tablespoons of butter

Combine 1/2 cup of almond butter, 1/4 cup of confectioners sugar and butter

Whisk, whisk, whisk

The mixture should be creamy like this. Add more sugar if you want it to be sweeter

Remove the tray from the freezer. The chocolate should be solid

Put a tablespoon of the almond butter mixture in each cup

Repeat what we did with the chocolate by tapping down the almond butter mix

Place a handful of roasted almonds into a ziplock bag

Lightly mash with a mallet or pan. Watch your fingers!!👇🏼

The almond sprinkles should look like this when broken up

Sprinkle the almond sprinkles on the peanut butter. Save some sprinkles to top the cups later

Place the cups back into freezer for 10 minutes

Add more chocolate and repeat earlier steps

Remember, stir the chocolate so it’s doesn’t burn and remove when it looks like this

Add a heaping teaspoon to each cup

You can keep adding as much chocolate as you want

Tap down the pan to smooth out the chocolate

If desired, add some almond sprinkles to the top

Place back in the freezer for 10 minutes

Unwrap the cups
