How toMake A Strawberry & Lemon Pie

What you’ll need
2lbs-1kg
2lbs Organic Strawberries
1 cup
Water
2 tbsps
Maizena
1 Fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup - 100g
Granulated Sugar

1 Pie Dough
1 lemon’s zest
Lemon Zest
Place 1lb of strawberries in a pan

Add the zest of 1 lemon

Add the juice of 1 lemon

Add 1/2 cup of sugar

Add a cup of water

Bring it to boil

Strawberries must be melting

Add 2 tbsps of corn starch

Blend and cook until it thickens like a pastry cream then set aside and allow it to cool

Meanwhile fill the pie pan with the dough

Place a parchment paper on top

Add beans on top to avoid bumps

At 350F - 180C Cook for 10mn, remove the beans and parchment paper and cook for 5mins more

Allow the dough to cook at room temperature before adding the strawberry marmelade

Spread evenly

Add the strawberries sliced into 4 pieces on the length

As much strawberries as possible

Decorate with some fresh mint

And some sliced almonds

Ready, steady, taste!... after 3 hours into the fridge
