In my easy version I use green peas instead of fava beans

Cover the bottom of a large pot pour oil, saffron spray, salt, and a layer of parboiled rice

Sprinkle a layer of green peas around over the rice

Next sprinkle dill week - dry, fresh, or freeze dried dill

Add some garlic salt

Gently stir and combine the peas, the dill, and the spices

Start again with a layer of parboiled rice

Again with the sprinkling of peas over the rice...

Again with a sprinkling of dill weed

Make some holes with the end of a wooden spoon - this helps release steam

Cover the pot with a tea towel, place the lid on, & fold edges of the towel up to keep the steam in
