Check out Prada Marfa on the way into town. It’s the only site more than a 5 min drive from Marfa.

Marfa is a quaint town of about 2000 people about 50 miles north of the Mexican boarder.

Head to the Chinati Foundation. It’s an old army base Judd purchased when he moved to Marfa.

Judd’s 100 aluminum boxes are in two buildings. All are the same dimension but each is unique.

Walk among Judd’s 15 Untitled Works in Concrete made up of 100 boxes stretched over a kilometer.

There are 6 buildings of spectacular works by Dan Flavin at the Chinati.

The Robert Irwin building opened in an old hospital two years ago and is amazing.

Moving between the dark and light sections of the building is a special experience.

Visit Judd’s studio in an old Safeway. Find samples of many of his materials and works.

Head down the street to The Bank where you’ll find Judd’s furniture collection.

Visit the Ice Plant to see some of Judd’s latest work that only recently came out of storage.

Visit The Block. The first site Judd bought in Marfa. See work from Judd, Flavin, Kusama and Stella.

Walk by this abandoned factory that’s slatted to be turned into a distillery.

Head into the Arber print shop. He was Judd’s print maker and has some unique prints on his walls.

Ballroom Marfa is a museum that puts on three exhibitions per year. So many cups!!

Stone Circle is an installation that plays music from speakers in the rocks when it’s a full moon.
