How toCork Turkeys

What you’ll need
Scissors
Plain paper
Floral wire
Clear tape
Black Sharpie
Pen
Patterned paper
Hot glue gun and glue
Thumb tacks
Ruler
Corks
Yellow or orange felt
Wire cutters
Glue stick
Make a feather template. Mine is 2.5” tall and 3/4” wide.

Trace out feathers on patterned paper and cut. You will need 7 feathers per turkey.

Stack feathers and attach to cork with thumb tack.

Cut beaks and glue to cork. Draw on eyes with Sharpie.

Cut wire to 3” lengths with wire cutters.

Stick wire in tops of cork. You may need to make a starter hole using a thumb tack.

Cut plain paper 2.5”x1.5”. If you want a contrasting inset piece, cut it 2”x1”.

Glue paper together and label.

Tape paper to floral wire.
