Milk
450 g / 16 oz
Yogurt
First pour the milk into a pot and keep stirring until you have a warm milk test it with your finger

Now add the yogurt and mix it very well until they all combined *if you like it salty add some salt

use a towel or a blanket and cover it all over then move it to a warm place,for 6 h at least

After 6h,prepare the filter and a piece of cloth,I use this pillow bag for cooking,clean and dry

Start pouring the milk mixture,make sure you have a pot or big bowl under the filter for the licking

Move it to the refrigerator overnight or at least for 10 hours, empty the pot from the water if need

Empty the water,open the bag,your labana is ready,if you like it thick let it drain for longer time

Store it in the refrigerator for two weeks or cover it with olive oil for up to two months

I got 1.650 kg/7 cups of homemade lowfat labana,you can make it with a whole milk and yogurt as well
