Preheat a nonstick pan, peel and cut plantains in slices, spray pan with oil and add plantains.
Cook on medium- low heat until the bottoms are starting to get golden.
Carefully turn them around.
Both sides should look golden like these.
Remove from heat and place them on a cutting board, flatten by pressing down.
The thinner the tostones are, the crispier they’ll be.
Place them or the air fryer rack and spray with oil.
Air fry them for 10 minutes at 425F (this may vary depending on the air fryer)
Carefully remove from air fryer and serve.
