Sharing about my hand pies including the ingredients
Cut a stick of butter into slices and process along with 1 cup of ww pastry flour- add ice water

Add more flour if needed until the dough forms a big ball

Scoop out the pie dough, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes

Add honey, vanilla, and lemon juice to the cherry filling

Add a thickening agent like a pinch or two of cornstarch or flour 👌

Sprinkle flour on wax paper, flour the rolling pin, roll out, and cut out shapes

Keep at it until all the dough has been used 👌

Put bottom layer of crust on a parchment lined baking sheet, fill with cherries, and add the tops

Bake in a 400 degree oven for 12-14 minutes
