What you’ll need
Granny Smith Apples
Gluten Free Flour
Ground Nutmeg
Fresh Lemon Juice
Light Brown Sugar
Butter (melted)
Granulated sugar
Cinnamon (ground)
Slow Cooker & Liners
You need a slow cooker and liners

Peel, core, and cut 8 Granny Smith apples into eighths

Add 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl starting with 1/2 cup of granulated sugar

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

Add 2 tablespoons of gluten free flour

Add 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Add 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Whisk dry ingredients to mix thoroughly

Sprinkle dry mixture evenly over apple slices

Stir gently with wooden or plastic spoons to coat apples

Melt 6 tablespoons butter, drizzle over apples and stir again to coat apples

Cover & cook 2 hours on low or 1 hour on high until apples are soft when stuck with a fork
