What you’ll need
Make sure your cakes are completely cool and level!
Put your buttercream in piping bags for easier application
Fill cakes using circles to keep it even
Line up cakes and smooth a thin coat of buttercream, freeze 15 minutes
Pipe thick layer of buttercream making sure to leave a ridge, freeze 15 more minutes
Heat offset spatula and run across top ridge until you have a flat surface.
Continue to smooth using spatula
The colder your buttercream, the easier it scrapes away to leave a sharp finish!
