Fresh Peach, Cinnamon Chip Scones

Preheat oven to 375-degrees F. In a large bowl add 1 1/2 cups flour.

3 Tbsp. Sugar

2 Tsp. Baking powder

1/4 tsp. Salt Mix together

4 Tbsp. Cold butter cut into little pieces. Mix in with hands or pasty blender.

Whisk 1 egg

Add 1/2 cup peach or vanilla yogurt

1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract. Mix well.

Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and gently mix until dry ingredients are just moistened.

Add 1 cup fresh diced peaches.

1/2 cup cinnamon chips or 1 tsp cinnamon if you don’t have chips. Mix in.

Place on well floured work surface and gently pat into a 10 inch circle.

Cut circle into 8 - 10 triangle shaped scones.

Place scones on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Top scones with sparkling sugar. Bake 18 -20 min. at 375 F
