What you’ll need
500 grams
sour cream
1 tbsp
Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 cup
Chives

Yellow Onion
3 tbsp
Butter
1 tbsp
Olive Oil
1 tbsp
Honey
Peel, cut in half and thinly slice the onions with a mandoline or with a knife.

In a large frying pan heat 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add onions and sweat on medium heat.

Add butter. Cook onions on low heat for about 30-40min until caramalized. Stir occasionally.

Your onions should look like this.

Deglaze pan with 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar. Add salt and pepper. Transfer to a plate and let cool.

In a bowl mix sour cream, onions, chopped chives, honey, salt and pepper.
