How toEasy, Homemade Vegetarian Falafel

What you’ll need
1 cup
Canned Chickpeas (drained + dried)
1/2 t
Crushed Red Pepper
1/4 - 1/2 t (to taste)
Cumin
PAM or Olive Oil Spray
1 cup
Red Onion (chopped)
1T
Cilantro (chopped)
4-6 T
Flour
Salt + Pepper (to taste)
2T
Parsley (finely chopped)
4 cloves
Garlic
1 t
Baking Powder
Pulse chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro and spices in food processor.

Mix in flour and baking powder. Transfer to a bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour

Form mixture into small 1” balls & preheat your air fryer to 350°, spraying the bottom with oil

Lay each falafel in the air fryer so they are not touching. Spray top with oil so they crisp up!

Cook for 10 minutes, then flip. Cook for an additional 5 minutes and you’re done!

Serve with yogurt sauce, pita bread, cucumber, tomato and any other favorite Mediterranean sides
