Step to the front and transfer weight
Back foot crosses over the front foot. Transfer weight to that foot.
Step with back foot to position it directly behind the front foot with about a foot in between feet
Front foot steps back to be directly side of the back foot with about a foot distance between feet.
Repeat and try on the other side.
Side view. Repeat each step twice before moving onto the next step.
Start to slowly add speed.
Add the arms and upper body as needed. Keep the knees supple and weight on the toes.
Transitioning to the other side. Keep the weight on supporting foot on step 4.
