Cut two pieces of rope in each color of your rainbow. Example: 16”, 18”, 20”, 22”, 24”

Tape two pieces together where you want them to begin and end wrapping your yarn.

Create a cardboard template. This will become your backing and help the rainbow keep its shape.

Wrap yarn tightly around cotton rope. Use hot glue to hold at beginning and end.

Trim excess cardboard backing, comb out remaining cotton rope and trim to desired length.
