Solid tin but easy to DIY
Place the alloy in the melting pot. I used a Tin+Bismuth combination from Purity Casting Alloys
The alloy melts at 281f so it didn’t take long to melt. I used a spoon to skim off the surface
I poured it into silicone ice trays and then placed in machine screws with popsicle stick stoppers
I let them cool for 2 hours before removing!
It worked well so I made more!
I then removed the nut and popsicle stick
A scotch-brite pad can be used to remove patina
And now I just have to pick a cabinet to install them on!
Thanks for watching!
