Cut 1”x 2” oak boards to length using a compound miter saw

Use a 7/8” diameter drill bit to drill holes through the oak about 2.5”in from edges

Thread pieces of oak together with 1/2” diameter iron pipe

Use holes of 1”x 12” boards to line up holes of the 1”x 2”boards

Sand oak down with orbital sander

Finish wood with one coat of Danish oil

Insert pieces of wooden dowel into couplings and use Sugru mouldable glue to support the casters

Insert pipes through oak holes and use couplings to sandwich the wood
8
This same design concept will work with additional shelves and shorter pipes
To make it easier to screw in last pipe, use angle grinder on one of the ends

Screw pipe all the way in to one of the elbows and half way to the other one across from it

Drill holes through dowels so casters can be inserted

Drill holes to sides of 1”x 2” pieces of oak to insert 1/4” diameter steel rods
