I lightly sanded the nightstand with the sanding sponge.
And cleaned it with white lightning.
I then used Dixie mud to fill in the dents on the surface.
Just a little bit does the job. It dries fast as well.
I painted it in three coats of palmetto using my Dixie belle flat brush .
Once the paint dried, I sanded it lightly for a smooth and even finish.
I cleaned it with a tac cloth so that no residue is left and the piece is ready to be sealed.
I finally sealed it in two coats Dixie belle top coat (satin).I waited for 3 hours between each coat
I stained the inside and doors in Dixie Belle no pain gel stain(walnut)and sealed in BigMummaButta
I added the Algea transfer from redesign with Prima on the doors and sealed in satin top coat.
I finally added new knobs and new legs to this old nightstand and transformed into this beauty.
Here is a before without and with legs.
