Flatten out a piece of clay and then roll it to the desired thickness.

Place doilies and lace on the clay, roll over them with a rolling pin, then lift them from the clay.

Wooden textures are sometimes easier to roll over with a piece of canvas on top.

Experiment with odds and ends. Try different textures together.

Use a combination of different stamps. Try adding texture around them.

You can make an easy trinket dish with your clay texture designs.

After you cut the circle, smooth the edges.

Carefully slump the clay into the shallow dish and compress the edges of the dish.
