Select two wigs that you would like to splice together. Turn each inside out to expose the wefting.

Determine where you would like the color split to be. Use a marker to trace this line across wig 1.

Repeat for wig 2, taking care to draw the same line.

Cut wig 1 along the marked line. Try to avoid cutting any hair by parting the fiber as you cut.

Repeat for wig 2. Lay out the front half of wig 1 and the back of wig 2. Discard the extra pieces.

Pin wig 1 to wig 2 along the cut line, using quilting pins.
