Creamy Steak and Potato Soup

Cook steak seasoned with salt and pepper in a Dutch oven or large pot until no longer pink.
Remove the steak and add onions and garlic. Cook 2-3 minutes until softened.
Pour in beef stock and add the potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook 10-12 min or until fork tender.
In a separate pot, melt the butter and whisk in the flour, then the milk.
Pour the butter mixture into the pot and cook to thicken. Add steak and heavy cream. Heat through.
Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted. Season as needed.
Serve with extra cheese and sliced green onions, if desired. Full recipe is linked below.
