Gradually increase your pencil pressure to create darker colors. Too hard and you can’t layer.

Light pressure allows for more layers. More layers lets you move between colors and shades.

Begin with the lightest (or darkest if you wish) color and gradually move to the next color.

Take two different colors, & apply light pressure. Alternate colors until you get the color you want
